Scenario Format

Resistance 1940 consists of a series of 'dynamic scenarios'.

Each scenario contains a number of points scoring objectives, some of which involve holding physical locations, others which relate to capturing key items or VIPs.

Depending on the result of each mission or the overall score, different scenarios will be played to reflect the position of the 'campaign'.

Physical Locations

Before each scenario, platoon commanders will be briefed as to the points value of fixed physical locations on the map.

Points are calculated at the end of the scenario by which team’s flag is flying at the end of the scenario in each of the designated points.

Some objectives will be in the hands of various teams at the start of each scenario; others will be neutral.

Example

These VIPs will consist of mannequin dummies rather than human players.

Both VIPs will begin each scenario in a defined location. The opposing team can score points by either:

  • Shooting the VIP
  • Capturing the VIP and removing them to their own base.
  • Removing the VIP from their start location
